Meet Our Team

Bronwyn Watts has spent her whole life around horses. She grew up on a working farm in rural southwest Virginia, where horses were part of everyday life from the very beginning. Through 4-H, Pony Club, and more than three decades in the horse world, she developed a deep respect for the animals in her care and the people who depend on them.

Since 2004, Bronwyn has worked professionally in Three-Day Eventing, caring for top-level horses and supporting riders at major competitions across the United States and Canada. That experience, along with her lifelong commitment to equine welfare, eventually led her to create ColdSpring Mares, a nurse mare program built around thoughtful care, responsible practices, and a better way of doing things.

At the heart of everything Bronwyn does is a simple belief: every horse deserves to be cared for with dignity, and every foal deserves the best chance possible.
