Biloxi Princess — known simply as “Billie” in the barn — is the definition of a classic Thoroughbred mare: big, stout, and full of presence. Bred by the renowned Godolphin Farm in Kentucky, her racing career was modest, earning $18,130, but her true calling began the moment she joined our program.

In her two years with us, Billie has already raised three orphan foals, proving herself to be one of our most reliable and versatile mares. During her rookie season, she rose to an extraordinary challenge: raising two foals in one year. First, she cared for a strong, handsome Thoroughbred colt for a full six months. Just two days after returning home from weaning, we received an urgent call about an orphan Arabian foal — and Billie didn’t hesitate. She accepted him with the same calm commitment, nurturing him as if he were her own.
